L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is the antiques capital of Provence and is also known as the 'The Provencal Venice.' On Sunday mornings there are over 300-market stalls set up in the sleepy village streets. The waters are clear enough to see the fish, and the streets are lined with gorgeous old architecture, including the gilded Notre-Dame-des-Anges church pictured above. Where the locals attend a summer classical concert after an al fresco dinner in the square.
